Pro pages can live at talk.yourname.com or yourname.com as well as yourname.steer.social. One DNS record, a few minutes, and the studio tells you when it's live.

If your provider offers ALIAS, ANAME or CNAME flattening for the root, you can point @ at domains.steer.social instead.

Open dnschecker.org, type your address, choose CNAME (subdomain) or A (root). Green ticks around the world showing domains.steer.social or 66.241.125.55 mean it has spread. From a terminal: dig +short talk.yourname.com.
The studio names the problem when it can: not found yet (still spreading, or a typo in the name), points elsewhere (an older record is still there, or Cloudflare's proxy is on), or being issued (the certificate follows DNS by a few minutes). Still stuck after a few hours? Write to support@steer.social with the address and we'll look.
